Enterococci are intrinsically resistant to many classes of antibiotics ā like cephalosporins, Aminoglycoside (low-level resistance), macrolides, clindamycin, quinupristin-dalfopristin (E faecalis), Fusidic acid, Sulfonamide [EUCAST], which limits our options when we try to treat Enterococcal infections.
